Marty Lamar and Bruce Carlson have been performing music together for many years. In the Scott Daniels Show Bruce Carlson played the bass and sang harmony vocals while Marty Lamar played lead guitar and also sang harmonies. The band played country covers and a variety of original songs. They performed at venues throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Scott Daniels Show even shot a television pilot for a network television show.

In the years following, Bruce and Marty found themselves working together in a number of bands and also performing duo concerts for a variety of church and festival events. Marty Lamar has had a successful solo career working with producer, Dick McVey in Nashville, TN. Marty has written and recorded several songs that received national and international airplay!
