Chicken Wing Party Event!!!

Many of you have been wondering about the next Chicken Wing Party!!!!! February 28th from 5-7pm is our day! For those of you that are newer to our community, the chicken wings are free and our way of saying thank you. You cannot order them ahead of time, you just show up and eat them, yes, for FREE! We have these ridiculous parties in the winter because they are just that, ridiculous, LOL! The condiments usually freeze before you can use them, don’t worry, we dust the wings with a delicious seasoning that you will enjoy even without the sauce. We love to see a bunch of people hanging around in the winter time eating chicken wings in a parking lot.  Please RSVP jill@blackmarketstp.com if you plan to join us, this will give us an idea of how many wings we need and thank you in advance!

Please note….RSVP’s are not the same as preordering, it just gives us an idea of how many we need. We had such a HUGE turnout last year we ran out early so this year we will double down and make sure we have plenty of those little chicky’s to go around!!!

Who wants Black Market for Christmas?

Hello BBQ Friends…

During past holiday seasons we have had requests for our meat treats. Some years we have been able to make accommodations. This year we had a request and are able to fulfill it. The bald guy was very honored for the request of his food at such a special gathering that he wanted to extend the same opportunity to everyone!

The menu options are slightly different than our normal Fridays. Available items are…

Baby Back Pork Ribs - $30 each

Beef Rib Plates (3 bones/Approx. 4 lbs.) $80

Whole Pork Shoulder - $80

Whole Beef Brisket - $195

Smoked Beans Half Pan (feeds 25) $60

Smoked Bean Regular Portion - $12

You may place your order anytime between now and Monday December 23rd. When placing your order you need to leave a comment in the note section stating this order is for Christmas day pick up.

Pick up time is between 1-2pm on Wednesday December 25th. The pick up location will be at 207 Isabel St W, Saint Paul 55107. This is only 1/2 mile from our normal location just up Ohio Hill on the bluff. Look for the shiny silver box on wheels!

There are four steps to the process, be sure to complete all of them. Your order is not complete until you click the PURCHASE button. Please email us if you have any questions and remember to check for your confirmation email which contains an “order number” after you have placed an order!

We love to see a bunch of people hanging around in the winter time eating chicken wings in a parking lot.  We will also be adding some additional items to the menu that we will unveil as we get a little closer to the 26th, so stay tuned to our emails if you are interested! BBQ in the Park with Wilkinson James and Bebe Zito Ice Cream August 12th!

Join us for a one time picnic in the park! We are going up the hill during the Irish Fair weekend. Please join us at Prospect Park for our usual BBQ dining experience and live music. We are also excited to announce an ice cream social with Bebe Zito! Come ready to have a great time! Wilkinson James was born in 2008 when Liz Wilkinson and AJ Scheiber met up and merged their singing and songwriting into a musical partnership that one fan described as "the bastard offspring of June Carter Cash and Townes Van Zandt." Somewhere along the line that duo became a full band, adding pedal steel, fiddle, and saxophone to Liz and AJ’s tightly knit harmonies and classic-yet-fresh original tunes. Their first (self-titled) album, released in 2014, showed their love of folk, honky-tonk, and country blues. The follow-up, Abandon, added touches of jazz, torch, and swing to their folk / honky-tonk base, while keeping the focus on original songwriting and eclectic, carefully curated covers.
