We wanted to post an update about parking access and a few helpful tips for first timers and those we haven’t seen for a bit…

Parking…for the safety of our customers we will no longer have parking available within the lot. Parking is available along Cherokee Avenue and other nearby streets. If you are traveling south bound on Smith Avenue you will want to take an immediate right turn onto Cherokee Avenue after crossing the bridge. If you are traveling north bound on Smith Avenue you will want to turn left at the light on George Street to get to Cherokee Avenue.

With BBQ season in full swing we are currently filling the pit to maximum capacity every week. This means that all of our product items have a limited amount available and sold out means just that. Unless someone cancels an order last minute we are out, but it never hurts to ask if we have any extras 😉

We are now enforcing a strict open at 5pm rule. This allows us time to get all of your meat treats packaged and ready to go on time. You are more than welcome to arrive early and be the first in line but know that we will not start filling orders until 5. We appreciate your patience and assure you that once the line starts moving you will not have much of a wait!

How soon should you place an order? You can start as early as Saturday and we would recommend trying to get them in by Tuesday if you want something specific.

Bebe Zito Ice Cream is available and ready to order! We have three consistent flavors available. Strawberry Fields 4 Ever, Brazilian Chocolate with Brigadeiro Truffle, and Vanilla with Tahitian & Madagascar Vanilla Beans. There will also be “extras” available on a first come first served basis in special flavors each week so be sure to ask about them when you arrive. These tasty pints are available now on our website for ordering.

You can also use the link here to continue to order locally roasted coffee from Roundtable Coffee Works. You can order on their website and pick up your package with your BBQ on Fridays. They will have multiple offerings available to choose from. Please select pick up at Black Market StP.

For those of you that have been a part of the Black Market family for a while you already know about the unbelievable ice cream that Bebe Zito churns out. For the rest of you, now is your chance to experience it as well. Bebe Zito is a small batch ice cream company that hand crafts its products at the Good Acre in Minnesota. Bases are made with high quality ingredients, with mix-ins that bring you to flavor town. Bebe Zito champions creativity and authenticity. The parts that make you different are what they celebrate. They are currently in the process of opening their very own brick and mortar in Minneapolis. in the mean time, you can order it here on our website and pick it up with your barbecue. First Blog!

Our new website has a blog feature. We have never blogged before but we are excited about the opportunity to keep you up to date on new exciting things going on. This page will have the latest information about changes or new additions to our Friday pick ups.

This week we have two announcements! As we mentioned in the email that went out this week, we think it is important to support other local businesses so we are doing our part.

1. For the foreseeable future you will be able to order coffee from Roundtable Coffee Works and pick it up with your BBQ on Fridays. Ordering can be done on their website roundtablecw.com. They will have multiple offerings available to choose from. Please select pick up at Black Market StP.

2. Who wants ice cream?! Bebe Zito will be returning to Fridays in a few weeks. Orders will be taken on the Black Market StP website. We will make the order buttons visible once the ice cream is available. You will also take delivery of this delicious treat on Fridays with your BBQ pick up!

We think this is a great combination of treats and the only thing missing is PIE! The amazing pie ladies over at Pie & Mighty have opened their very own brick and mortar and are extremely busy with that right now. Until that settles in we will not know how often they will be able to visit us on Fridays but stay tuned! Thanks for reading friends!
